Week in Review
Each week, Propeller staff put together the Propeller Week In Review ("WIR"), which summarizes the biggest stories of the past seven days. More to the point, it stitches together a wealth of comments from Propeller members--both regulars and newcomers. There's no better way to get a sense of the recent conversation.
Step right up, folks, for the Greatest Hits Edition of the Week In Review. Instead of focusing on stories from the last seven days, we've cast the net wider, clear back to 2007. Travel back in time with us as we argue about Obama, frown over human cloning, and debate the artistic merits of that nude painting of Sarah Palin.
You'll also find the community debating over Bush's pardon of Lewis "Scooter" Libby. One member, cocking a cynical eyebrow, said: "This administration and these contemporary cons sure make Clinton look like a mix between Churchill and Alexander the Great." Replied another: "Jesus, I sure didn't hear all you clowns screaming and hollering when Slick Willie pardoned hundreds of convicted felons."
And what about that "underground city" in Leavenworth, Kansas? Was it a subterranean rumpus room? A tunnel complex leading to the nearby prison? For the answer, visit the blog po st--then join the comment thread for some brisk, post-WIR conversation!
